Who Runs The Contest

The Hamilton Hammers Home Opener Ticket Giveaway (the “Contest”) is run by the Hamilton Hammers, operated by Oak View Group, at TD Coliseum, Hamilton, Ontario (together, the “Sponsor”).

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook or Instagram. By entering, each entrant fully releases Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability in connection with the Contest.

Entrants are providing their information to the Sponsor, not to Meta. Questions, comments or complaints about the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor, not to Meta.

Contest Period

The Contest begins on Thursday, October 1, 2026 and ends on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the Contest Period ends will not be accepted. The Sponsor’s computer clock is the official timekeeper for the Contest.

This Contest is separate from the Hamilton Hammers 9 Weeks of Giveaways contest. Entering one does not enter you in the other.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Not eligible to enter or win: employees, representatives and agents of the Hamilton Hammers, Oak View Group and TD Coliseum, and of their respective affiliates, partners, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers, as well as the immediate family members (parents, siblings, children and spouses, whether legal or common-law) and household members of each of those people.

How To Enter

Click the Hamilton Hammers Home Opener giveaway ad on Facebook or Instagram during the Contest Period, then complete and submit the entry form with your first name, last name, email address and phone number.

• Limit one (1) entry per person. If a person submits more than one entry, only the first eligible entry will be accepted.
• The optional box to receive Hamilton Hammers news, offers and promotions is not required to enter and has no effect on your chances of winning.
• Entries made using multiple identities, email addresses or accounts, or by script, bot, macro or any other automated means, will be disqualified.
• Incomplete, inaccurate or late entries are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for any reason, including technical problems with Facebook, Instagram or any network or device.

The Prize

There is one (1) prize available to be won: two (2) tickets to the Hamilton Hammers’ inaugural home opener against the Toronto Marlies on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM at TD Coliseum, Hamilton, Ontario. Approximate retail value: $80 CAD. Seat location will be determined by the Sponsor.

• Tickets will be delivered digitally to the winner using the contact information they provided.
• The prize does not include transportation, parking, food, beverages, merchandise or any other expense not listed above. These are the winner’s responsibility.
• The winner may choose their own guest. The winner and guest must follow all TD Coliseum and Hamilton Hammers policies, including the fan code of conduct and bag policy. If the guest is under 18, the winner is responsible for them.
• The prize must be accepted as awarded. It cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for cash. Tickets that are resold or listed for resale may be cancelled.
• If the game is postponed, the tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. If the game is cancelled or the prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, such as tickets to another Hamilton Hammers regular season home game.

Draw & Odds

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at approximately 4:00 PM ET, one (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place in Hamilton, Ontario.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification

The Hamilton Hammers will contact the selected entrant directly by email and/or phone using the information provided in their entry. Because of the short time before the game, the selected entrant must respond by Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET.

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

• correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, administered by phone, email or another method chosen by the Sponsor; and
• if requested, sign and return (including electronically) a declaration and release form confirming they meet these rules and accept the prize as awarded.

If the selected entrant cannot be reached or does not respond by the deadline above, does not meet the eligibility requirements, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or does not return the declaration and release form when requested, they forfeit the prize and the Sponsor may select an alternate entrant from the remaining eligible entries, time permitting.

Release & Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner and their guest release the Sponsor, Meta Platforms, Inc., and their respective affiliates, employees, agents and representatives from any liability for any loss, damage, injury or claim arising from participating in the Contest or from accepting or using the prize.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may use their name, city of residence, photograph and/or voice in connection with the Contest, in any media, without further notice or compensation.

Personal Information

Personal information collected through the entry form will be used by the Sponsor to run the Contest, including selecting and contacting the winner and delivering the prize, and will be handled according to the Hamilton Hammers Privacy Policy. Entrants will only receive marketing emails from the Sponsor if they checked the optional box to subscribe, and may unsubscribe at any time.

Use of the Facebook and Instagram lead form is also subject to Meta’s Data Policy.

General Conditions

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• The Sponsor’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest are final.
• The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, breaks these rules, or acts in a fraudulent or disruptive way.
• The Sponsor may modify, suspend or cancel the Contest if fraud, a technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control affects the proper running of the Contest.
• If there is any difference between these rules and the Contest ad, entry form or any other Contest material, these rules apply.
• The Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Void where prohibited by law.
